Initial Visit

Your first visit to Firefly Orthodontics will take about an hour. During this time, we will introduce you to our team and show you around the office. We will ask you to complete a medical health history form, take photos of your face and teeth and complete an evaluation of your teeth during this complimentary consultation. This is an important part of the treatment process where we learn about you and your orthodontic needs. We will discuss possible treatment options, optimal timing for treatment and estimated time in treatment. If treatment is recommended, we will need to take full diagnostic records (models of your teeth and special orthodontic x-rays) that will provide other important diagnostic information so that a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan may be created just for you.   We will explain the process and the next steps to take to start the treatment process.

Treatment Consultation Appointment

After diagnostic records have been evaluated, we will present a through and complete explanation of our findings including all necessary treatment recommendations. The treatment consultation appointment is a valuable time to discuss any questions and concerns that you or your child may have.

Billing and Insurance

Our practice will assist in arranging a convenient payment plan with you. We accept many payment methods, including cash, credit cards, online banking and automatic withdrawal.

Although many dental insurance policies now cover a portion of orthodontic treatment, each has a different scope of coverage and method of payment. Please be sure to provide your insurance information prior to your initial exam so we may check your orthodontic coverage and available benefits.
